Autumn Touring – 2016

We’ve been on the road in Maritime Canada for three weeks now with one more week to go! It’s one of the most beautiful seasons to be here. The leaves are turning, the harvest is in full swing, the nights are nippy.

We just arrived in Halifax from a whirlwind two days in Cape Breton. We starting at Iona (Rankin School of the Narrows) and passed through Cheticamp, up the Cabot Trail, with a memorable and auspicious stop at Gampo Abbey, on to Ingonish and an excellent seafood dinner at the Mainstream Restaurant in Ingonish Beach. A wonderful show at Cape Smokey Elementary School capped off this leg of our tour. After Halifax we head to … well, look at our calendar page to see where we’ve been and where we’re headed!

Inside Gampo Abby, a universal recommendation!

We end our tour of eastern Canada in New Brunswick, just where we started, with shows in Miramichi, Moncton and Fredericton. Then we rush home for two days and head to Ireland for two weeks of 13 shows!

Busy, busy Rathskallions!
