Celtic Rathskallions at Carp Memorial Hall

This was a great show for the Carp Historical Society. This was a ‘grown-up’ show arranged by MASC. A small but responsive crowd greeted our songs and tunes with enthusiasm. We shared refreshments after the performance and made some new friends. Always a pleasure to perform for fine folks!

We’ve been on the road in Maritime Canada for three weeks now with one more week to go! It’s one of the most beautiful seasons to be here. The leaves are turning, the harvest is in full swing, the nights are nippy. We just arrived in Halifax from a whirlwind two days in Cape Breton. We […]

Orchestral shenanigans

Ottawa Citizen “Orchestral Shenanigans”

It’s not that far from the oboe to the tin whistle. Or from the oboe to the bagpipes, for that matter. Wendy Moore, founding member of The Celtic Rathskallions, who played the oboe in a symphony orchestra for 10 years, demonstrates the principle behind the bagpipes for thousands of schoolchildren each year.

Bahamas Tour Week

A fun day of four 40 minute performances of my Maddie Show for elementary students at Lyford Cay International School in Nassau. Performing outside in February is certainly a real treat!
